At least as important in the military context are systems that include sensors and microactuators. Shown above in 2010 silicon is a complete, multi-spectral megapixel imager, with over 100GOPS of on-board signal conditioning logic. FPGA is provided to perform downloadable, high-performance front-end signal processing as well. Note that the silicon imager itself is included on the chip, in the upper left hand corner.
