Using the most recent industrial data, by 2010 and in a 0.07 micron technology with 0.6V supplies, we predict memory densities 8.5 times those of today, logic density increasing by a factor of 15, a fivefold increase in maximum on-chip clock rates for semi-custom designs, and 2.5 times increase in maximum average power density.
