This semester the theme is "Social Networks meets Computer Networks". We'll continue to have a mixture of information science and social science speakers, but with a bigger emphasis on sociology this time. Sample topics are (i) Online social networks and communities, (ii) Networks in organizations, weak vs. strong ties, how information systems affect them. (iii) Tacit knowledge in organizations, especially the knowledge encoded in social networks and workflows.

HCC Readings: Here is a list of HCC-related books. Please feel free to suggest additions to it.
