3D Legos Close Up

Our tiles are composed of polyhedra with a hole in the center of each side. Pegs can be plugged into each hole, allowing two polyhedra to be connected. Because the holes are a tight fit, they hold together quite well. There is a small bump on each peg to keep them from falling inside the polyhedra. This method allows each polyhedra to freely rotate about its peg axis. In addition, one is not constrained to connect only congruent faces. That is, one can connect square faces to hexagonal faces.
