Carefully-chosen underlying set of semantics oriented towards hardware.
Limitations include:
- Simple notion of time (...too simple)
- Type mechanism limited (need to combine spatial and temporal characteristics in types; prefer sets to enumerations)
- Notation still has difficulties representing "store."
