Phase-contrast light micrograph of the (wet) AP tectorium of Xenopus laevis, the African clawed frog. The arrow points to the tectorial curtain. The tectorial corner was adjacent to the caudo-lateral end of the curtain, above and to the right of the arrowhead. Again, the tissue was observed here surrounded by buffer solution in a depression slide, covered by a thin coverslip.
