The reading assignment for Wednesday for CS 258 is to read the following  paper:
    Memory Consistency and Event Ordering in Scalable Shared-Memory  Multiprocessors, Kourosh Gharachorloo, Daniel Lenoski, James Laudon, Phillip Gibbons, Anoop Gupta, and  John Hennessy,  Proceedings of the International symposium on Computer Architecture, 1990.
You must also:
Write one paragraph about the paper. You should briefly summarize the arguments, then  describe your opinions on and reactions to the issues introduced in the papers.  Please review the iWarp paper from last time as well.
