I am a Ph.D. candidate at Computer Science Division, University of California at Berkeley. My advisor is Professor John Canny. My research interest is in the area of privacy technologies. The goal is to develop provably strong protocols that are practically realizable. Currently I am working on the P4P project. Past projects can be found here

I got my B.S. and M.S. degrees from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics , Beijing China. Before I came to Berkeley, I worked for Beijing Skyship Advanced Technology Co., Ltd., developing control software for GPS systems. I also worked at IBM Almaden during summer and fall 2002 as an intern.

While I am not working, I enjoy many outdoor activities. But winter swimming has always been my favorite sport. I became a crazy winter swimming fan during the 6 years when I was studying in Beijing. Now I am living in the Bay area, boy, do I miss Beijing's winter! I am sure I will pick it up again some day.
