Write a "Journal/Diary" about your teaching experience
WHY ?
- Reflecting about your teaching is the most effective way to improve your teaching.
- Your experiences when shared with others will help others to improve their teaching.
- These notes may help you later to compose a "teaching statement" for your portfolio.
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:
- After each discussion session, write down a few sentences about what happened,
and your thoughts about it. Keep it informal. Telegram style is OK.
- Submit these notes:
- either per e-mail to the CS301 instructors ( sequin@cs, ppj@cs ),
- or to a newsgroup or into an on-line journal form. (instructions will be forthcoming).
WHAT WILL WE DO WITH THIS ?
- Instructors will read it, and give you personal feedback, where needed.
- With your permission, we will share some comments with the CS301 class and discuss the issue raised.
