Paper Presentation and Discussion
Address the following points:
- What is the paper all about ?
- What is the key new idea that the authors present ?
- What have they been able to achieve ?
Conceptual Design of Snap-together Tiles
- Presentation of various conceptual ideas from Assignment #7.
- Discuss possible approaches to "multi-tile snap-together edge."
- Look at the "polymorph" system.
Mata-Skill: How to Teach Something so that it Sticks.
- Let students try for themselves.
- This increases motivation, makes learning easier.
- This prepares the brain to make "acceptors" for the solution.
- A solution that falls into such a contextual slot is retained much longer.
