Biography
I have been working for
NEC Corporation
in Japan since 1993.
Now, I am conducting research about manipulation of micro electric parts at UC Berkeley for the company.
Before joining the company, I studied in
the Department of Electronic Engineering
at Tohoku university
in Japan and researched liquid crystal displays.
I received the B.E. and M.E. degrees from the university, in 1991 and in 1993
respectively.
At the company, I belong to Production Engineering
Development Laboratory. I have been working on the
development of production machines, such as bonding machines
and servo track writers for hard disk drives. I used to
design electrical circuits and software to drive and control
these production machines.
