Professor Rikky Muller's research group works on implantable and wearable medical devices enabled by advanced microelectronics technology and integration. We are interested in understanding how to optimally interface electrical, chemical and optical systems with the human body, and to use this understanding to develop safe, chronic and intelligent medical devices. Specific areas of interest include brain-machine interfaces, neurotherapeutics, and health monitoring applications.
