Research Interests

My research interests center around developing a theoretical understanding of algorithms used in statistics, optimization and machine learning. In the past, I have worked on theoretical guarantees for the EM algorithm and optimization based sampling algorithms. More recently, I have also developed interest in the theory of neural networks. During my undergrad, I explored several areas of Electrical Engineering including Devices and Circuits, Signal Processing and it was only towards the end, that I learned about the exciting fields of machine learning, and high-dimensional statistics. Please find below a list of my publications categorized broadly in three categories. You may visit my google scholar page for an updated list.
