Summary of cadence shortcut commands

Q Design properties (such as the cell name, library name read/write permissions, etc)
e Display options (i.e. snap spacing, grid spacing, snap angles, instance display levels, etc.)
E Editor options (such as repeat commands, gravity controls, etc.)
_ Window Commands
z Zoom in to user defined rectangle
^z Zoom in x2
Z Zoom out
tab Pan -- center view on user defined point
^r redraw
_ Create Commands
r rectangle
p polygon
i instance -- insert a link to another cell that will automatically update when the other cell is updated
_ Edit Commands
u undo
U redo
c copy
s stretch -- i.e. move the edge of a rectangle
R reshape
del delete
q object properties (i.e. size, location, layer)
C Chop -- i.e. take a bite out of a rectangle
O rotate
_ Verify Commands
none DRC (Design rule check) The main cadence window will show a list of the design rule violations. You can also use the Verify | Marker | Find command to find the various violations.
