Dear Patterson Family,

How are all of you doing.  What's happening?

I was thinking that it would be nice to have a big Patterson family get together in Santa Cruz sometime.  When do you think a good time for all of you to do that would be?

Last weekend Dave and I babysat our cute grandchildren while Mike and Heather went to a out of town Wedding.  The first day we spent about six and a half hours in Fairyland and had a great time.  We went on the Jolly Trolly train seven times.  That night we went to sleep bed alone, but by the time we woke up we had two more cuddled in with us.  When Andrew woke up he said "What's Happening".

The second day we had a picnic and a swim at Lake Anza.  We also did several rounds on the little train in Tilden.  Andrew was having fun playing with the steering wheel of our car when Grandpa Dave kept calling for him to get into his car seat. Andrew finally yelled back "Calm down Popa (Grandpa)".

Grace is such a happy, funny, adorable little girl who charms everyone. Dave's heart melts every time she takes his hand.  Both kids are at such a cute age now.

Andrew told me the story of the three bears, with his little fat cheeks, cute baby lips and little boy accent.  That was the cutest version that I had ever heard.  Heather says that when she took Andrew to buy shoes on Monday, that he said that one pair was "too hard", the next pair was "too soft" and the third was "just right".  She couldn't get him to try any other shoes after the "just right" pair.

Last week Andrew got a peanut stuck in his nose and kept asking Mike to get it out.  When they took him to the doctor, Andrew didn't want him to get any where near him.  The doctor used a tool that popped the peanut into his mouth.  He ate the peanut and then said "Thank you doctor".

Okay, so I am a proud Grandma. You will have cute stories too after your visit.
