We believe that by providing a form of polymorphism in the hardware world, coupled with ongoing developments in communication standards, automated interface synthesis and self-integrating “plug-and-play” components might be possible. Such developments, when coupled with powerful verification technologies, could provide critical leverage in building reliable, agile systems at low development cost.
