Technology for people in need

I am very interested in making practical applications accessible to people in need.

I had worked on an LED solar lantern for a solar workshop run by AVANI. I went to a rural Himalayan village in Tripuradevi, Uttarakhand, India. Here is how it is like to be there.

I developed an iPhone application for identifying clothing colors in different lighting conditions for a blind person.

Building Things

I minored in Mechanical Engineering as an undergrad at MIT. Here is my video describing my robot that won the WhiteLaw prize: originality in design.

I got to build many creative interactive devices when I took the Critical Making class at UC Berkeley. See my projects Here
