Lisa Anne Hendricks

I am a fourth year graduate student at UC Berkeley studying computer vision with Professor Trevor Darrell. My PhD work has mainly focussed on building systems which can express information about visual content using natural language (e.g, describing images using natural language or explaining visual classification decisions using natural language).

Before attending UC Berkeley, I was an undergraduate at Rice University. I worked with Richard Baraniuk on a lensless imaging system and with Junichiro Kono on terahertz spectroscopy.

I spent two summers at Google where I worked on camera hardware with the Chromebook team (summer 2012) and the Google Glass team (summer 2013). In the summer of 2016 I interned with the Creative Technology Labs (CTL) at Adobe.
