Gone

The herds were on their way to the Masai Mara region, leaving the Serengeti plain largely empty. We caught up to the migration on the road to the Lobo Wildlife Lodge, in the northern Serengeti. Resident herds in Ngorongoro Crater remained where they were-- in the south.
