White morph of the red-footed booby
Kauai, HI

The large rookery near Kilauea Light on Kauai is occupied largely by the brown morph of this species. Only a few white-morph red-footed boobies are scattered around the hillside. This bird was photograhed at sea, as we approached Kauai.
