Along Johnson Creek Road

Johnson Creek Road runs for about a mile along the south bank of the Clark Fork River, then bends south into the woods and fields, toward Johnson Creek. During weekdays, traffic along the unpaved road becomes heavy in the late afternoon, as fisherfolk finish their workdays. Otherwise, it is very quiet-- with good views of birds such as this one.
