Mini Biography

This is me, distilled into bullet points.

  • Born and raised in Phoenix, AZ, which I grow to love more and more as time passes

  • Attended Arizona State University, graduating with a B.S.E. in Electrical Engineering in May 2012

    • My honors thesis discussed the development of wearable sensors to detect personal exposure to toxic chemicals.

  • Earned a MS and PhD in EECS from UC Berkeley, working with Professor Ruzena Bajcsy on studying how humans and robots can interact and assist each other in everyday life

    • Specifically, I work on the interaction between drivers and autonomous vehicles, meaning I think a lot about how and why drivers do what they do

  • Currently, I'm a Postdoctoral Research Scholar in the Aero/Astro Department at Stanford, working on driver modeling and decision making for autonomy

  • I've worked at some cool places:

  • Things I enjoy:

    • Fun facts and trivia

    • Video games

    • Eating food (and occasionally making it)

    • Being involved in organizations like the EE Graduate Student Association and Women in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering
