In today's world, personal social networks are as important as teams in
the workplace, or maybe much more important. I will talk about my
ethnographic research on "intensional networks" in the workplace from an
activity theory point of view. I will discuss the software prototype we
are buildng based on this research which we call "Les Viz." Les Viz
redesigns the user interface to reflect the reality of netWORK in the
workplace.
