I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from UC Berkeley in May 2002. With my advisor, Prof. John Canny, I worked in behavioral animation, virtual environments and novel interaction techniques. My professional experience includes gigs as a software engineer, a mechanical engineer, and a liaison between a research group and business group at a major office equipment maker.  I am also a graduate of Cornell University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.
