Directions for turning in programs
are now available. Please ignore the message you get about
"hearing from us soon," since this isn't a real contest.
The book I mentioned in class is
Programming Challenges by Steven S. Skiena and Miguel A.
Revilla, Springer, 2003. It has an associated
web site, with various
additional information, such as down-loadable input and output files, and
an automated judging system that you can use for further practice.
The Universidad de Valladolid also has a
robot judge, and is
claimed to have the
largest collection of programming problems in the world.
