Dear Moses,
We have (here in Berkeley) a short manual on Macsyma (titled MACSYMA
Primer for UNIX) that was edited by Richard Fateman on original due
to you back in 1980 or so. With the fact that Vaxima has now died and
that a few things have changed in Macsyma and Maxima the short Primer
is a bit out of date, and I would like to edit it to serve as a guide
for users of both systems.
Is it okay with you ? Can we go ahead and do the changes ? I most
certainly can send you a copy of everything even before distributing
it to anybody else.
Best wishes,
Paulo Ney de Souza
