Before this, I was a postdoc at the Berkeley Artificial Intelligence Research Lab at UC Berkeley, advised by Alyosha Efros and Sergey Levine. I earned my PhD at UT Austin working with Kristen Grauman, and my bachelor’s degree at IIT Madras, where I majored in electrical engineering and minored in literature.
In January 2020, I will be joining UPenn’s GRASP lab as a tenure-track assistant professor in CIS, with a secondary appointment in ESE. I will be looking for students to collaborate with me and join my research program, who are highly motivated, curious, and intellectually well-rounded, with background in some subset of computer vision, machine learning, robotics, and control. While formal admissions are processed through the university’s various programs, feel free to shoot me an email if you are interested.
