Taking off the blindfold
Abstract: The next revolution in education is simply allowing
learners to see what they're doing. When learning and working in many
technical fields, one of the biggest challenges is maintaining the
"picture in your head" -- translating between an abstract symbolic
representation on paper and a physical intuitive understanding in the
mind. We will look at examples of interactive environments that break
down this barrier, and give learners a more immediate connection to
the subject.
