I'm a third year Ph.D. student in Computer Science at UC Berkeley, in Professor Pieter Abbeel's group and the Berkeley Artificial Intelligence Research (BAIR) Lab.
My current research interests are on robotic perception and control. My recent work has been on learning a visual dynamics model for robots and using this model for control and planning. In the past, I worked on the problem of learning from demonstrations, where a robot learns and generalizes from human demonstrations to accomplish a task, such as manipulating deformable objects.
Before graduate school, I did my bachelor in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at this same university.
In my free time, I enjoy working on electronics and DIY projects, flying RC aircrafts, and visiting new places with friends.
