Thanard Kurutach

I am a PhD student in Berkeley AI Research ( BAIR ) at UC Berkeley, where I am co-advised by Prof. Stuart Russell and Prof. Pieter Abbeel. Previously, I received my bachelor's degrees in Math and EECS from MIT, where I was fortunate to research in CSAIL with Prof. Stefanie Jegelka and Prof. Leslie Kaelbling, and I have interned at Google, EnergySage, National ICT Australia, and Harvard Microrobotics Laboratory.

My research interest is to develop algorithms that enable robots to efficiently solve complex decision-making problems using learning and planning.
