Joao Carreira

I am a Ph.D. student at UC Berkeley in the RiseLab. I am advised by Randy Katz and Pedro Fonseca. I am broadly interested in large-scale serverless systems for Machine Learning workloads.

Prior to that I did research at EPFL (Switzerland) and MPI-SWS (Germany). I have also worked as a Strategy/Management consultant at Mckinsey&Co. in Europe and South America.

The best way to reach me is at joao [at] berkeley [dot] edu
