Rotater

Overview

Rotater is a wonderful little utility available for the Mac or PC (It's called Rotate for the PC however) which allows for simple creation and viewing of 3-D files of lines and points. Here is the format for the .rot files.

For CS184 students only -- CS99/199 student may ignore

I created some Rotater files which illustrate the primary types of planar projections and are a very very helpful tool for understanding them. You'll first need the program and then you'll probably want to set up your web page to be able to boot the program when you click on rotater files from the web, then you'll need the data files I created.
